Our recent performance of TITANS in Shanghai sparked some unforgettable reactions from the audience, many of whom took to social media to share their thoughts. From personal reflections to poetic musings, the feedback was as varied and rich as the performance itself.
From the intricacies of the choreography to the emotional depth of the performance, these comments highlight the unique connection we shared with the Shanghai crowd.
“In this chaotic world, TITANS brought me to tears. It’s more than just ‘grotesque’—it’s a universe of time and space. The performers, like clowns of two worlds, captured a perfect symmetry between noise and silence.”
“He trusted his instinct, and fortunately, his intuition was genius. I was drawn into this dream—or was it a nightmare?—mesmerized by a play that, to my surprise, was created eight years ago.”
“A magician of the stage. With the lights on, everything seemed so ordinary, but once the lights dimmed, the stage transformed—small yet cast, transcending time and space. TITANS will remain one of my favourites.”
We look forward to reconnecting with our audiences in China in the future, just as we did when TITANS previously performed in Hong Kong in 2019.
