TOURNÉ emerges from the seasonal rhythm of Greek summer theatre. A world of touring troupes, exhaustion, camaraderie, vanity, devotion… and survival. Stories surface and resurface: bodies buried and unearthed, identities never fully clear. A brother, a lover, or both. Ancient paths return as shadows passing through. Under the same starry sky, then as now, performers dig where others dug two thousand years ago; the work, the words, keep somehow breathing. With the sharp humour of comedy turned on its head, TOURNÉ reveals theatre as sacrifice, an offering of bodies and voices. A tragicomedy oscillating between devotion and ridicule, memory and myth, personal history and collective inheritance, performed in a theatre originally devoted to Dionysus himself.
