Τhis performance is a highlight reel of pivotal moments from Euripides Laskaridis’ artistic journey. It aims to encapsulate the essence of his touring works, notably RELIC, TITANS and ELENIT.
Nestled in Berlin's renowned Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW), MELANGE made its debut at the "Constant Rehearsal – Dance Legacies and Archival Practices" event. This gathering illuminated the intricate methodologies of archival practices within the dance and performing arts sector, drawing inspiration from the legacy of the Pina Bausch Foundation archive and other notable dance archives. As a recipient of an inaugural Pina Bausch Fellowship for Dance and Choreography, Euripides Laskaridis was invited to contribute to this exciting event with a performance-lecture, accompanied by his creative team.
Subsequently, the performance was featured in the multidisciplinary, site-specific project [KÁMARES], presented at the ConTempo Festival in Kaunas ECoC, providing an opportunity to introduce Euripides Laskaridis' artistic universe within Lithuania's European Capital of Culture program.
